Who are the designers of our makeup brushes?
Makeup Artists and clientele
Amy Mckinstry is the founder/designer of the range of makeup brushes. Amy originally from the UK, was working for Elton Johns hair dresser Morris John Miller. From this time as an apprentice, at the age of 15 Amy realised the need for beauty needs and her passion for helping others feel good about themselves, she soon after college decided to study a Diploma in Beauty Therapy, and also decided to study another passion-'Business', during the same time for 4 years. After her studies, Amy decided to study makeup and become a Makeup Artist after being asked to work on set for music Video clips and film work. She then went on a big mission to find some better makeup brushes, durable, good to look at, and a better price....'there were none'....
Amy then decided to reinvent some brushes, and have them made. She designed five brush rolls made from different companies and tested them with many different chemicals, in different heat temperatures and materials, and over the years for durability. The amazing thing was every student and teacher wanted Amy to design their brushes also!... Now you will find most beauty schools, Makeup Artists and salons have opted for beauty Expressed makeup brushes, designed for the beginner and professional at competitive prices!
Today BE brushes are designed by many Makeup Artists and specialists from well known branded products you see on the market.
BE makeup brushes are made from high grade quality materials from squirrel to sable hair. We use a durable unique glue to ensure durability for your work as an artist.
Our Work Experience offers professionals and beginners a chance to build their portfolio and gain recognition for your individual skills in the industry. You will be working with photographers, fashion designers, manager and coordinators of big events all over the Gold Coast AU. 100% of students in 2007 gained a full time job through BE, and we can help you this 2008!

Traning opening 2008/2009 Beauty Expressed are supporting the opening of the short traning groups with Makeup Expressed.com. The classes iare designed to give you an insight about Makeup and Hairdressing so you can discover if this is the avenue you would like to take before you invest your money into doing a diploma. You will be taught by industry experts who have their own businesses or have some great life skills to teach. Work Experience is available and courses start from $250.00
